Aadi Perukku 2025

Aadi Perukku is a cultural festival celebrated by Tamil-speaking populations on the 18th day of the Tamil month of Aadi. Yuvabharathi Nursery embraced the spirit of Aadi perukku as the students sowed seeds, as a symbolic gesture of appreciation for nature and care for upholding the tradition. An Aadi Perukku special pooja was held at the school to enable the children to experience the richness and the meaning of cultural rituals. The young learners received microgreens from Ms. Nehaarika Sanjeev, a member of the management, which encouraged them to connect with our traditional roots.

These rituals reminded them of the families that gather by the riverbanks to offer prayers and thanks for the life-giving power of water, seeking blessings for prosperity, a good harvest, and new beginnings.
